Dan Tuten
Project Management for Dan began with the Department of Defense and an Army career that would lead through several assignments and project management challenges. These learning experiences included logistics, IT and planning endeavors, which in turn, allowed him a solid base of experience to take into the private sector. His project management skills were honed to perfection through planning, implementing and managing several IT, telecom and supportprojects at companies ranging from startups through midsize to Fortune 500. His projects have included CRM, PBX, and support implementations; system, network and telecom upgrades and/or replacements; as well as network, system and software designs. As a volunteer with PMI, Dan has served with Chapters in Chicago, IL and Atlanta, GA as well asboth the IT & Telecom SIG and the ISSIG. He was elected to the IT & Telecom SIG board of directors in 2003 and held positions as both Vice-Chair and Chair of that organization consisting of more than 5500 members worldwide dedicated to excellence in ICT project management. He was also selected to serve with PMI’s Community Transformation Project, an effort to mold the PMI of tomorrow with selected high quality leaders of today.
