This webinar introduces the participant to the foundations of Information Technology measures and metrics.  Adapted from one of Momentum’s Leadership in Knowledge (M-LinK) workshops, this webinar will enable participants to see that in work and life if you are not keeping score you are just practicing. 

 Learn how to speak intelligently about performance based metrics, including metrics for Information Technology, based on real experience obtained while consulting on technology projects in the state and federal government, and private sectors.  Terminology, understanding the need for metrics, selection and collection of data, metric types, and the metric development process will be explained during this presentation.  Many people do not know the difference between a measure and a metric.  Using the SMART methodology, we will take the participant through the Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely performance based metric development process.
